1968 C10 Escalade Frame Swap
2007 Cadillac Escalade
We chose an 07 Escalade because the wheel base is only an inch longer then a short bed c10. It comes with updated rack and pinion, better suspension, all wheel drive transfer case, and an aluminum block LS3.
Built LS3
We stripped the frame installed coil overs and rebuilt our LS3. We built the LS3 to be able to handle some boost.
Installing Cab
We reused the c10 cab mounts and made custom one off the Escalade frame.
4l80e
We went with a 4l80e transmission that we made fit our Escalade frame. We had to clearance the floor to make a custom tunnel to fit our transmission.
Stepside Bed
The bed was completely cut apart and we made a custom bed frame to mount to our Escalade frame.
Turbo Kit
We fit our 3in pipes to begin welding together our turbo kit.
We installed a S475 T6 turbo and the turbo kit was complete.
Exhaust
For clearance our exhaust is 5in flat Nascar style exhaust tube.
